I have had the privilege of working with Pearl "1 on 1". I work out 3 times a week and I have spent a lot of that time with Pearl. I have found that first of all, she has a way of making me feel comfortable and not self-conscious as I am working thru the various exercises. She is very knowledgeable about proper technique, and just how far to push me without going too far. She is studied and experienced in diet and fitness, etc. and has been able to answer every question that I have had pertaining to my own quest for fitness and health. She has helped me to understand the importance of, reasons and need for me to continue pursuing it. In addition to that, she has a great personality and sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoy my time with her. She has been able to make hard sweaty work into fun for me. Also, she is very informed in the field of healthy eating and diet.

Every trainer is different, and when introduced to a new trainer, it can take some time to find your groove. Things fell right into place with Pearl, as if she had been training me for years. Her outgoing and friendly demeanor makes it easy to have a conversation, get to know her, and be honest about how each session is going.

Pearl works hard to ensure you get the best workout while still enjoying it. She introduces new exercises regularly to keep things interesting and work different muscle groups. She quickly learned my skill level and helped push me to reach new goals. She motivates me to work harder, to get that extra rep, to try new exercises, and to laugh along the way.

I very much enjoyed working out with Pearl no matter what muscles we were working on. Though I specifically enjoyed the abdominal workouts. She pushed me very hard and I never felt that the work outs were easy, I was left with fire burning in my abs every time. I also enjoyed how she would do the ab and leg works out with me, this not only made it more fun, but also showed her commitment as a person trainer.

Pearl is a very hard worker and personable with great knowledge in her field of nutrition and sports training.  As for my experience with Pearl, it was great – she was patient yet persistent in pushing me to my personal potential goal and beyond my expectations.  Pearl’s personal workouts with me included machines, free weights and focused leg and abdominal workouts.  The Leg and the AB workouts were a great challenge and I enjoyed them the most as they were different and very challenging.

Pearl's approach to her professional life is one of confidence and kindness. While being instructed by Pearl, I always felt that she was concerned with my well being and she behaved in a strictly professional manner, but with a smile on her face. I have benefitted greatly in gaining strength and endurance through her guidance. As an older distance runner, I needed to work on my core strength. Training with Pearl was fun and I noticed quite an improvement in my core area.

I am very happy to be Pearl's student, she is very easy to follow and learn from as an instructor but always makes sure that our training sessions are very challenging. A few weeks ago I started doing my classes with my wife and it's own of our most favorite activities as a couple. We get to workout together and get closer to our fitness goals together and Pearl is great in making sure we are both engaged. I recommend her classes!

I worked with Pearl for a year and enjoyed having her as my training. Pearl is a ball of energy! Her smile and energy helps prepare your mind for a great workout.
What I loved most, was her ability to modify my workouts around the issues I was having with my shoulders and knees. I came in the door around 260+ lbs with Severe Hypertension and 11 A1c Type 2 Diabetes . Immediately after meeting Pearl , she taught me about RAW Whole Foods , what the body needs on a daily basis, proper sleep and low stress. Minus 60 lbs later here we are. A complete 180 degree turnaround, today my A1C is in check ( around 5.5 A1C) , blood pressure is in check , and I’m already on my 2nd ski trip this year February 2022. I found Pearl through a fitness challenge. The VegFit Warrior app was part of the challenge, and was super intuitive, easy to use, and had descriptions and video examples of exercises for the ones I wasn't sure about. I had a really good experience with it, and highly recommend it.

My wife and I have been using the Vegfit app for the last 6 weeks. and we love the fresh spin on many well-known exercises which helps keep things interesting. Pearl also included many new exercises which were fun to learn, and make a great balanced workout. The video demonstrations are amazing, and to me this is what takes the app to the next level. When I started working out with Pearl I was overweight, hypertensive, with an A1C of 7.2. It is now 6 months later and I have lost 20lbs, my blood pressure is under control and my A 1 C is now 5.9. Yes, I totally changed my eating and sleeping habits but without Pearl I don't believe I would have seen the results that I have.

As one of her clients I was able to see the beauty and drive in Pearl. No matter how many hours she spent coaching people she always kept a smile on her face. Working towards my fitness goals is challenging and Pearl is helping me greatly. When we began working together, she gave me physical tests to understand my fitness issues fully. Pearl takes the time to create custom workout plans to help with my goals. For instance, I recently injured my shoulder, and she guides me through exercises that rebuild my strength without creating more injury. My normal inclination is to “push through”. From our first interactions she had me motivated! With her professional - yet fun - personality, Pearl tailor made weekly programs that have built my strength and help me to continue losing weight (I’m down 30lbs since starting in Dec). Pearl truly cares about the wellbeing of her clients and creates programs that consider abilities, challenges, or restrictions. During our sessions I felt 100% safe (the day I passed on breakfast Pearl sensed I need nourishment and provided a pack of trail mix!). She even helped me video the moves and texted the programs for reference. Highly recommend Pearl as a trainer!
